Intraoral scanner

Medicine and Engineering as the ingredients of success

STERE Dental Study is at the forefront of the most modern dental technologies

Among these, I intraoral scanner represents a real revolution in the way of designing and implementing custom dental treatments.

What is an Intraoral Scanner?

The intraoral scanner is a digital tool that acquires a precise and detailed three-dimensional image of your teeth and gums. Unlike traditional alginate prints, the intraoral scanner creates a virtual 3D model of your mouth in just a few minutes, completely digital and painless.

STERE Dental Study uses the intraoral scanner to offer its patients a more comfortable and precise care experience

Thanks to this cutting-edge technology, we can design and realize personalized treatments that meet your needs and expectations.

Why Choose the Intraoral Scanner at STERE Dental Studio?

The intraoral scanner guarantees millimetre precision in image acquisition, allowing the dentist to design personalized treatments using Cad-cam technology

Comfort

Unlike traditional footprints, digital acquisition is faster, more comfortable and more precise, avoiding the feeling of nausea and unpleasant taste of alginate.

Instant Display

The 3D model can be displayed on the computer screen, allowing the patient to preview the final result of the treatment.

  • Prosthesis: For the construction of crowns, bridges on natural teeth and implants.
  • Implantology: To plan the location of the implants and design the screwed prosthesis.
  • Conservative: For the realization of inlays, aesthetic ceramic restorations made with cad-cam technology.

But what are the benefits for the patient?

  • Comfort: Farewell to the annoying traditional footprints! The scanner is fast, painless and non-invasive, it won't give you that annoying feeling of nausea of traditional footprints.

How does it work?

Stereo logo

The intraoral scanner is a state-of-the-art technological tool for capturing three-dimensional digital (3D) images of dental arcades and soft tissues in the oral cavity.

Stereo logo

The device, equipped with a high-resolution camera, projects a structured light on the surface of teeth and gums. The camera captures images that are then processed by a software to create a detailed 3D model of the patient's mouth.

The dentist moves the scanner inside the oral cavity, acquiring real-time images that are displayed on a monitor. The resulting 3D model can be rotated, enlarged and analyzed to plan subsequent dental treatments.
